Terms and conditions

Each item is lovingly hand made in my Devonshire studio and quality checked once finished and before dispatch. Due to the hand crafted nature, no two pieces are exactly the same. Each will have unique differences or quirks.

Great care is taken to ensure that photographs and text descriptions are a true representation of the products so that you receive items that you are happy with, however, please bear in mind that colours may appear differently on screens and slight variations may occur in the dye process. If you require a sample of wool to check the colour, please get in touch and let me know which colour you would like to see. Samples will be limited to maximum 2 per person and dip dyed samples are not available.  

 

Delivery

Delivery within the UK is free for all orders. To discuss international delivery, please see the International Orders page or contact me at info@laurenastondesigns.com.

Large items/orders are sent by courier. Everything else will be sent via Royal Mail.

Please double check your delivery address is correct to ensure your parcel is delivered to the right address.

Goods are aimed to be dispatched within 1-7 working days from receipt of your order (subject to wool stock availability).

Every effort is made to keep stock levels updated, however, as every item is handmade, levels are subject to some fluctuation. Should an item sell out before levels are updated, you will be contacted as soon as possible to advise of the delay.

If you have an urgent request, please get in touch and I may be able to offer an express service. 

 

Returns

I hope you are completely happy with your Lauren Aston Designs purchase but if you are not satisfied, please feel free to contact me on info@laurenastondesigns and we can discuss the issue and come to an agreement on how best to address it.

Because each item is hand made to order, items will not be accepted for refund due to a change of mind or lack of care. Please pay careful attention to the care instructions that can be found on the website and on the back of swing tickets when the goods arrive. Wool, in particular, needs to be cared for properly in order to ensure your products have a long life.

Knit Kits and Giant Merino Wool sold by the Kg are both non-refundable once removed from the box as the wool can damage so easily before it's been processed. If you are in need of a specific colour please contact me before placing an order so samples can be sent out for you to see the exact colour.

In the unlikely event that there is a fault with the product, it needs to be returned for inspection in its original condition, unused and unwashed with all the original labels, packaging and proof of purchase within 14 days of receipt. If the goods do not reach us in this condition then your right to a full refund may be affected. Postage will only be refunded if the item is found to be faulty, otherwise the cost of returning the goods will be at your own expense. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If required, please contact me for the return address stating the issue and when and where the product was purchased. Please notify me within 7 days of receipt if you are unsatisfied with your product for any reason.

When returning an item, it is recommend that you use a recorded service as I am not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in the post. Items remain your responsibility until they reach me. Return postage costs will not be refunded unless the item is found to be faulty.

 

Bespoke Items 

If an item is created to bespoke criteria, that is to say if it has been made to specific size or colour then it is not eligible for a refund. Please do bear this in mind when ordering.
