Hello Friends
I’m a little nervous this week as I’m sharing my first frolic into the world of video tutorials. *nervously glances around* As my on-screen debut (apart from that time I was on Play Days as a child) I’ll ask you to go gently on me. Luckily, thanks to the digital prowess of the team at Ben and Harvey the video itself is wonderful … just ignore that rambling fool in pink and it’s great. Now that I have that admission out the way let’s crack on and pretend i’m totally confident and completely at ease.
What is this video?
I wanted to make a short How To so you can see just how simple and fun giant knitting really is. You can grab your knit kit’s (shameless plug there) and knit along; I promise it’s easy.

Here’s a few reasons I think Giant Knitting is magnificent and why I’d recommend it to almost anyone …
Knitting in general has so many benefits for both keeping you warm and mental health/mindfulness.
Giant knitting is amazing for seeing quick results. It grows really quickly compared to normal knitting which is so satisfying and great for beginners.
Merino wool is a total dream to work with, even if like me, you’re allergic to most wools!
It’s wonderful for both experienced knitters who want to have a go at something different and for beginners as it’s really easy to see your stitches and figure out what you’re doing.

Huge thanks to the wonderful humans at Ben and Harvey for their patience and wonderful creative vision, we had a really fun day shooting back in May and they couldn’t have been more encouraging.
