Sale - Massive Mohair Citrus

The last of our Massive Mohair! *sob*

Out of stock

The last of our Massive Mohair – Citrus shade.

Use with 12mm – 20mm needles and whip up any of our existing patterns (just be sure to size down as it comes out bigger!)

So easy to knit with and ultra-soft and squidgy, it’s a joy to use and wear!

As Shown in Images:

Both Powder Blue & Jade cardigans are knit using our Button (kn)it Up Cardigan pattern – both size small. The Powder Blue is knit on 15mm needles (and used 7 balls) and the Jade on 12mm needles (and used 6 balls). Both were made following the pattern exactly but the Powder Blue sleeves came out really long so you could easily lose some rows on the sleeves (and some stitches and/or rows off the body) and use less yarn.

The Citrus & Sandstone Jumper is knit to our Drop it From the Top Down pattern – again in size small, and knit on 15mm circular needles only. It used 2 balls of Citrus and 4 balls of Sandstone.

About the Yarn:

🧶 The Massive Mohair comes in 100g balls, each ball approx 60m long – which is similar to our merino 100g so if you’re knitting any of our patterns designed for super chunky yarn you can get the same weight.

🧶 Knit on 12mm, 15mm or 20mm needles for joyful chunky knits!

🧶 Our Lauren Aston Designs Massive Mohair is a blend of fibres from happy Peruvian goats and acrylic.

🧶 If you have sensitive skin (like Lauren) you might find Mohair slightly itchy in which case we recommend wearing long sleeves underneath, if you’re not so sensitive (like Chloe) it shouldn’t be itchy at all! Chloe’s been wearing the cardigans with bare arms since we made them and I quote ‘I frickin love the cardi!’ and said she didn’t find it itchy in the slightest.

Our Massive Mohair is a limited edition yarn – to see if you love it as much as we do.
