Knit Kit - Beginners Boatneck Jumper
Knit Kit - Beginners Boatneck Jumper
This beautiful boatneck jumper is a brilliant beginners knit kit to start (or continue) your knitting journey (addiction)
Beginners Boatneck Jumper Kit
Stay warm and cosy in this classic boatneck jumper. So simple to knit it’s perfect for beginner or confident knitters who want an uncomplicated project to do in front of the TV. It’s loose boxy fit makes it a real fashion staple and using the softest, dreamiest Merino wool there will be no itchy skin even when worn over a vest top.
The jumper has textured rib stitches for the cuffs and hem and is finished with a really simple Boatneck so no shaping is required for the neckline. Alternatively you could leave the neckline open more on one side to style it as an off the shoulder jumper. With options included to knit to a length that suits you best you can really make it your own. Not to mention the two colours you can choose for the main body and sleeves. Go for classic neutrals so that it goes with everything or add add an injection of personality with vibrant complimenting colours!
Suitable for sizes 8-18, this Jumper will look perfect with shorts, skirts or jeans and also looks fab over a polo neck. Choose the colour you love the most and prepare yourself to never take this off!! Choose one of the gorgeous neutral yarns which will go with everything, or why not be brave and go for a bright statement colour pop?! I can't wait to see what you decide... once you have the pattern and the needles, you can make as many as you like.
This kit is simple enough for a beginner knitter, but is also enjoyable for those more experienced knitters - using basic stitches of knit and purl with a small amount of shaping all of which are explained in full on our Knitting Knowledge page as well as there being a How To Knit leaflet in each kit.
Your kit comes beautifully packaged in one of our environmentally friendly LAD bags. Perfect for keeping your knitting project all in one place and once you finish your knitting you can then use your bag to store and organise toys, accessories or use as a travel bag.
Once knitted up you can hand wash your jumper and simply lay it flat to dry.
