Longline Cardigan Kit
We love a cosy oversized cardigan here at LAD, so we’ve created one that ticks all the boxes! As long as you like, as wide or as narrow as you prefer and available in any of our beautiful merino yarn colours.
Based on our favourite kit, the Dreamy Oversized Cardigan – we’ve taken all the best bits and added even more options!
This longline cardigan is available in a range of sizes from UK 6-28 so you can find a fit that works for you. We recommend sizing up for a cozy fit. You’ve also got the option of going as long as you like, so if you’re taller you can just keep knitting until you’ve got the right length.
Who doesn’t love an ankle-length cardigan when the seasons are changing… although this beauty is also perfect for summer evenings, so it’s another all-year-round wardrobe staple!
Using a combination of knit & purl, with some gentle shaping and rib at the edges, this knit kit is perfect for beginners and a great project to while away your evenings in front of the TV!
Small (UK 6-10) – Approx 50cm wide
Medium (UK 12-16) – Approx 60cm wide
Large (UK 18-22) – Approx 70cm wide
Extra Large (UK 24-28) – Approx 80cm wide
The length is determined by you. If you’re tall, or would like to make it extra-long, you have the option of adding an extra hank to your kit. Each size kit has enough to make the length sit just above the ankle if you’re about 5’5″.

You can now choose to have your yarn in a hank or a ball!
Our Great Balls of Yarn are beautifully wound so you can start knitting straight away. Instead of spending your valuable time winding them yourself when you could be starting on your latest project, or having the worry of tangling up while you’re knitting, these balls are expertly and beautifully wound by us, for you.
Each hank/ball is around 200g (and 130m) and is best knit on 10mm-15mm needles.
If you choose to stick with hanks of yarn, most of our customers find it easier to wind them before knitting. Snip the ties holding the hank together and you’ll find the end of the yarn. Pop it over the back of a chair, a door handle or your knees and wind into a ball, before starting your knitting.
