Our Next test knit: The Bobble Bomber Cardigan
This super cute bomber style cardigan uses a mix of stitches to create a really tactile and cosy cardi.
It has a Garter stitch neckline and button plaquet and uses two sizes of bobbles in a diamond pattern before working the body in moss stitch to any length you like, finishing in a short rib.
The balloon sleeves follow the same design as the body and you can add buttons as the pièce de résistance!
This pattern is suitable for intermediate to advanced knitters. It is knit on the round and uses knit stitch, rib stitch, bobble stitch and moss stitch. The cardigan should take around 15hours to complete.
What we need from you...
We are looking for a range of sizes and colours to be knit up so will be choosing a selection from all applications submitted. We will provide you with yarn and any tools you require (if you don’t already have them.) Following the completion of the test knit, we’ll send you a questionnaire asking for feedback on the pattern/knit.
- Skill level: Intermediate
- Tools needed: 12mm circular needles / 4 x stitch markers / stitch holders (or waste yarn) / Tapestry Needle
- Deadline: 31st May 2022
We will notify you via email if we need you to knit for us, and then will need your address to send the yarn to.
