A handfull of helpful links
Please note that due to the current UK lockdown we are all working remotely and so communication may be a little slower than usual. We are also parents so juggling the home schooling and your lovely orders is challenging as I’m sure you can appreciate.
Our founder Lauren is on maternity leave, so LAD will be looked after by Helen, Sally, Claire & Chloe. You can say hello to us here.
Orders may take a little longer than normal to be despatched due to only having one of us in the studio (there are normally 4!) If there’s a delay it’s likely that we’re waiting for stock. We’ll get in touch if you’re orders likely to take more than 14 working days.
Just as we are struggling due to Covid, so are our suppliers, which therefore affects our stock levels.
Currently we are out of stock of:
Lilac, Cream & Silver Mini Mohair Yarn
If your order contains any of these, it may take longer to arrive.
In some cases delivery is proving to be much slower than normal due to the pandemic. We are checking the Royal Mail website regularly but as the postal service is under extreme pressure, understandably they aren’t updating their site as often as usual – therefore, unfortunately we don’t have any further information about the status or tracking of your order once it’s left us. International orders are somewhat delayed – you can check the site here for all international updates: https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5317/~/international-incident-bulletin
Knitting How To
We have various videos on different knitting techniques as well as abbreviations, how to sew up your garment and so much more. Take a look here: https://www.laurenastondesigns.com/knitting-knowledge/
If you’ve bought a kit or a pattern from us, we have a Facebook Knitting Group full of amazing people who are potentially so much quicker at answering your knitting enquiry than we may be (especially on a weekend!!) You can find the group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/laurenastondesignsknittingclub/
If there is anything else, please do bear with us and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. We’re so grateful for your support – take care & stay safe,
