Big Cotton Recycled Yarn

Welcome to our 100% recycled, fully washable and utterly glorious chunky cotton yarn.

Perfect for all year round, but especially summer, our big cotton yarn suits needle sizes 6-12. Choose size 6mm for tighter stitches and a sturdier finish, or up to 12mm for a looser, softer finish. Each size of needle gives a really lovely knitted feel and it so gentle when knit up.

Because the cotton is super soft it will feel beautiful worn next to the skin, so lends itself brilliantly to vests, t-shirts and fine jumpers.

We’ve washed our knitted garments on a delicate 30 degree setting in the washing machine and they come out perfect.

Our Big Cotton is a multi-ply yarn, and is a bulky weight made up of lots of individual ply’s. This can mean when knitting with it, the ply’s can come apart slightly – just twist it as you go and once it’s knit up it won’t fray. Each ball is 100g.
