This knitting pattern is perfect for a confident beginner – why not start (or carry on) your giant knitting journey with this beautiful basketweave blanket?
Using just knit and purl you can create this textured blanket in around an hour. This giant basketweave blanket is the perfect accessory for your home, draped over a chair or a bed.
If you’ve not done giant knitting before, it may take a little practice to get the tension right, but using our merino yarn is a joy on the giant needles you can whip it up in no time at all!
This pattern also has all the information you’ll need to process your giant basketweave blanket – it is knit in unspun wool so it is essential that you process your finished blanket to avoid shedding.
