Leopard Print Cushion Kit
We’re completely wild with excitement to launch this leopard print cushion kit – using three contrasting colours in a simple colourwork pattern, the rows build up quickly to create a beautiful leopard print design.
With inspiration taken from our very own hand-painted studio wall, we’ve created an incredible statement piece for you to knit up – choose your own colours and off you go! Keep it traditional or go wild with brights – our top tip though, it’s worth having one lighter colour so that the ‘spots’ really stand out. We actually can’t wait to see which colour combo’s you go for!!
Everything you need to make this incredible leopard print cushion is included in the kit – and if you’ve never done colourwork before then this is quite a straightforward pattern to follow, with a handy visual grid to refer to.

We source our Merino yarn from happy sheep.
Merino sheep are not native to this country so the wool itself is provided from farms around the world, however, we are very careful where we do source our fibre from. Our Merino is from South America and the South African Cape and we don’t buy from farms that mules their sheep.
The best quality of wool comes from happy sheep. If a sheep has a poor diet and general poor health its fleece will suffer. Both the quality of life for the sheep and the quality of wool it produces are hugely important to us. We have strong relationships with our suppliers to ensure that we can trust them and their practices. Merino shearers are all trained well to do it as efficiently and kindly as possible and the sheep are a lot happier once their 5kg fleeces are off!
You can now choose to have your yarn in a hank or a ball!
Our Great Balls of Yarn are beautifully wound so you can start knitting straight away. Instead of spending your valuable time winding them yourself when you could be starting on your latest project, or having the worry of tangling up while you’re knitting, these balls are expertly and beautifully wound by us, for you.
Each hank/ball is around 200g (and 130m) and is best knit on 10mm-15mm needles.
If you choose to stick with hanks of yarn, most of our customers find it easier to wind them before knitting. Snip the ties holding the hank together and you’ll find the end of the yarn. Pop it over the back of a chair, a door handle or your knees and wind into a ball, before starting your knitting.
