Colour Work, Knit, Purl
‘You Can!’ create this gorgeous wall hanging with this quick and easy knitting kit!
We’re totally in love with this hanging banner, and had so much fun creating it – you have so many options when it comes to colour choices, whether you add pompoms and how you’re going to hang it!
This pattern uses some colourwork techniques, but it’s all really straightforward and we’ve got lots of videos, tips and how to’s over on our knitting knowledge page. Plus the kit comes with a written pattern and a gridwork pattern, depending on what you find easiest.
Choose your three colours (believe us, this is the hardest thing of all!!) and you’ll be ready to go. The kit contains everything you need to create the wall hanging, including a jumbo knitting needle to hang it on. You can decide to add pompoms or go without (it looks glorious either way!)
The kit contains enough yarn to make pompoms in the three colours you choose (just add a pompom maker only at checkout), or you might like to add a rainbow pompom set for added joy.
27cm wide x 35cm long approx

We source our yarn from happy sheep. Due to its many magical properties and the fact that Lauren is allergic to a lot of other wool, we only use Merino.
Merino sheep are not native to this country so the wool itself is provided from farms around the world, however we are very careful where we do source our fibre from. Our Merino is from South America and the South African Cape and we don’t buy from farms that mules their sheep.
The best quality wool comes from happy sheep. If a sheep has a poor diet and general poor health its fleece will suffer. Both the quality of life for the sheep and the quality of wool it produces are hugely important to us. We have strong relationships with our suppliers to ensure that we can trust them and their practices. Merinos shearers are all trained well to do it as efficiently and kindly as possible and the sheep are a lot happier once their 5kg fleeces are off!
Due to current circumstances we are not currently able to provide yarn wound into balls. This option will be back soon!
