‘You Grow Girl’ Plant Pot Holders – Knitting Pattern

This plant pot pattern gives you two patterns in one – a hanging basket and a wall hanger.

Both are knit in garter stitch, with the hanging basket using two threads for a chunkier look, and the wall hanger in the one for a more delicate finish. Using techniques both in the round and back and forth, these patterns are fun for intermediate knitters or more of a challenge for beginners.

The hanging basket fits plant pots up to 14cm diameter, and the wall hanger 10cm. You’ll need two balls of our eco cotton yarn to create both planters, and they can be knit up in about an hour. Knit a matching set, or make multiple of the same design in different colours to hang alongside each other. We’d love to see a row of wall hangers in rainbow shades!
