Applied I-Cord
A method of adding a trim to your knitting using the i-cord technique

I-cord is a fun and effective technique of creating a tube of knitting – it can also be applied to existing knitting, as we’ll discuss here.

Applied I-cord is a really lovely and neat trim to add to your knits, you can work it in your main colour to give a subtle and clean finish or use a contrasting colour as shown in our video to create a wonderful colour pop statement.

This technique has so many uses, not only is it decorative but it also helps your edges from rolling which is super handy. You can make it narrower or wider depending on how many stitches you cast on with to begin with.
