Hello lovelies
Happy New Year LAD’s!
So, first blog of 2023. We thought you might have had long enough now to get over all of your festive knits and be on to deciding what to knit first this year. Which is why we thought we might put together some colour combos that might help to inspire you. We often get lovely customers asking us which colours go well together so our lovely Chloe has done just that for us! I have also had a dig around for some knits that combine two colour ways to make it even easier to select your next project. You’re welcome.
Here we have two fab duos that combine a more muted tone with something a bit more daring. The first combo is Super Chunky Merino colours Bright Pink and Pewter Brown and the second combo is Forest and Lilac.
Here are some knits that feature these colours of yarn below just to give you a little flavour.
A couple of patterns that combine two colours and that would look particularly good in these combinations could be:
The Drop it from the Top (Down) Jumper and the Classic Duet Cushion.
Next up we have two brights together. So if you are feeling bright and bold with your next knits these are the colours for you! Stand out from the crowd with Super Chunky Merino in Cinnamon and Bubble or Damson and Mustard.
Have a gander at these beautiful knits that feature some of these colours. They really are stunners!
Why not try these brighter colour combos with the:
The Super Purl-Fest Vest Top or maybe for some snazzy ‘Sock it to me’ Lounge Socks.
Then we have the super chic and sensible partners in crime Super Chunky Merino in Navy with Soft Peach and Emerald with Mink Blush. Both delicious combinations.
Here are some examples to help you to see them in the flesh!
And a couple of patterns that are guaranteed to look fab in these colourways are:
The dreamy Head in the Clouds Sweater and the Weekend Sweater.
Hopefully that helps give you some colour inspo! We loved putting them together. Don’t forget to tag us on Instagram if you have a go at any of the above! @laurenastondesignsstudio #sharewithLAD
