‘The Hood Life’ Bonnet & Hood – Knitting Pattern

This intermediate pattern explains how to make both the balaclava style hood, as well as the vintage style bonnet.

Knit up in a couple of hours, both designs are made in a textured purl stitch. The bonnet has long ties so you can wear it loose in a relaxed bohemian style, or tie in a bow. The balaclava style hood has a cosy neck to keep you warm and looks great worn under a jacket.

Both styles are knit back and forth on circular needles, with the hood finishing off in the round while you knit the neck. The back decreases in a lovely style so it looks great from all angles! The hood even looks stylish worn down if it gets too warm.

One size only which fits all the LAD head sizes (and there are quite an array here!)
