Not Your Basic Stitch Jumper Kit
Oversized and beautifully textured, this kit is perfect for more experienced knitters. Knit on chunky 15mm needles and finished with 10mm circulars, you’ve got a choice of a regular neck or a deliciously snug roll neck! When we say it’s not your basic stitch jumper – we mean it!
The best kind of jumper for the colder months – the combination of knit & purl stitches adds interest and texture and because it’s knit on larger needles, it’s super soft too! Versatile and stylish, you’ll never want to take it off…
The pattern includes 3 sizes from 6-24, but as it is supposed to be really oversized, our Not Your Basic Stitch jumper will fit larger bodies perfectly too.
You can choose to keep the neckline regular, which means it sits really nice on the low neckline – or you can pick up and knit to create a beautifully snug roll neck. The yarn is 100% soft merino so won’t itch!
Small (UK 6-12): 60cm wide x 60cm long approx
Medium (UK 12-18): 68cm wide x 60cm long approx
Large (UK 18-24): 77cm wide x 60cm long approx
We ALWAYS recommend doing a tension swatch to make sure your tension matches the gauge of the pattern and if not you can adapt the pattern accordingly.

You can now choose to have your yarn in a hank or a ball!
Our Great Balls of Yarn are beautifully wound so you can start knitting straight away. Instead of spending your valuable time winding them yourself when you could be starting on your latest project, or having the worry of tangling up while you’re knitting, these balls are expertly and beautifully wound by us, for you.
Each hank/ball is around 200g (and 130m) and is best knit on 10mm-15mm needles.
If you choose to stick with hanks of yarn, most of our customers find it easier to wind them before knitting. Snip the ties holding the hank together and you’ll find the end of the yarn. Pop it over the back of a chair, a door handle or your knees and wind into a ball, before starting your knitting.
