Made in two parts, you knit the body of the sack before creating a ‘crown’ top which is stitched on afterwards. You then create a cord, add pompoms and if you like, you can personalise the sack with an initial or name.

Using just knit and purl stitches both beginner and experienced knitters can whip up this fabulous elf sack in a few hours before personalising it to really make it special and unique – it’s the perfect project to start now and complete in time for the big day!
