Cropped Cable Knit Jumper Knitting Pattern

This pattern is an adaptation of my popular Cable Knit Jumper in a cropped style with 3/4 sleeves and a slightly higher neck.

With the same beautiful cabling on the front and back, this jumper style works great being dressed up or dressed down - wear with a satin skirt or cropped culottes, it is right on trend and designed to be knit in my beautiful merino yarn.

The pattern is straightforward to follow, it uses a mix of intermediate level techniques (such as basic cabling) but you can find extra direction and help over on my Knitting Knowledge page which covers it all in more detail should you need a helping hand.

Please note that this knitting pattern is for personal use only and not for resale in any capacity. It is a downloadable file and does not include any of the materials required to make the jumper. There is a knitting kit for this pattern available on my site should you want the needles and yarn also.

I now have a Facebook group for those of you who have bought a kit or pattern from me, please do come and show me your knits!

Skill level:

Knit, Purl, cabling (+some basic shaping)

What you need:

None of the following is included:

Small: approximately 600g Super Chunky Yarn in the colour of your choice by Lauren Aston Designs

Medium/Large: approximately 800g Super Chunky Yarn in the colour of your choice by Lauren Aston Designs

Tapestry needle

10mm knitting needles / 12mm knitting needles / cable or double pointed needle

Small: UK 8-10 (56cm wide x 41cm long)

Medium: UK 12-14 (60cm wide x 51cm long)

Large: UK 16-18 (66cm wide x 51cm long)

Small size shown in images.

The jumper is designed to be loose fitting and baggy. If you want it to be more fitted it's best to size down - for instance a medium would fit size 16-18 nicely as a tighter fitting sweater and the large would fit someone who's a size 22 just not so baggy.
